[having received his new name, Disipia now learns a bit about his true purpose and untapped potential from the mysterious robed man. he hears of the 'Dragon Man' for the first time, and he also receives a special enchantment, inspiring him try out his magic for the first time.]

my new name now decided, the robed man chided / "listen here, Disipia, you have a gift, but must hide it / lest ye cometh into peril, being lost and misguided / neither man of understanding, nor of pedigree knighted / ‘tis a trial and to survive it, ye must surely know pain / the laws thus being abided, ye shall surely know fame / seek the true way always, always mean what you say / become one with the eternal light of blue-hued flame / base metals whence placed within alembic must boil / 'tis a battle of the spirit, persevere through your toil / where the dragon man stands lies the plan you must foil / and to the heartiest of victors go the richest of spoils / now... there may be plenty of weapons thou mayest swing / but know the sharpest blade of all you'll find is forged from within / whether cudgel or bow, battleaxe or a sword / they all pale before mental might & magical wards /

listen to these unminced words and harken to the minstrel / which flow like witches’ mensturals over these instrumentals / transmitted live from the mind behind my temples / simple for the simpletons, complex for the veterans / the better man is he who best weathers the storm / cleverest born is never tethered, neither measures the norm / the wise man with his treasure in his hand gives on / and never mourns what never dies, the third eye lives on / your illumination rests heavy on rumination / die to life, and be exhumed from doom to superhuman nature / lookin’ in the mirror one fine day to find / your own reflection saw you comin’ from a mile away, so shine away!

i nodded in agreement.... finding his advice to be strategic / of the soundest intellect, collegiate, heed it / the teacher leader, myself the student did follow / gave the best advice offered since i fell into this hollow / no need to show the world the pearls that i had hidden within / until the moment i was ready for my work to begin / using an unsure grip i held before him my wand / and said "i never wielded one of these before, word is bond!" / "rest assured, you'll do fine, if your intentions are pure, / being of sane and sound mind the journey you will endure." / and with a gesture something extra toward my wand he endowed / and said "hold it up before thee, try using it now..." / so i did as he commanded, slowly lifted the stick / and with the quickest nervous twitch, my wrist gave it a flick / there was a moment filled with silence, as the seconds combined / i realized the world around me now was frozen in time! /

listen to these unminced words and harken to the minstrel / which flow like witches’ mensturals over these instrumentals / transmitted live from the mind behind my temples / simple for the simpletons, complex for the veterans / the better man is he who best weathers the storm / cleverest born is never tethered, nether measures the norm / the wise man with his treasure in his hand gives on / and never mourns what never dies, the third eye lives on / your illumination rests heavy on rumination / die to life, and be exhumed from doom to superhuman nature / lookin’ in the mirror one fine day to find / your own reflection saw you comin from a mile away, so shine away!
