[Disipia now comes across an area he can only best describe as 'the dark place.' its a hot and hellish place to be sure, making it the perfect place to catch his first gimpse of the dreaded Dragon Man...]

i made my way through the dark place at a calculated smart pace / searching for a sign, or a marked space / my charred face skin singed from continual ash / the air down here infused with a residual gas / it was a bit much, as far decor and a warm ambience / residents delivered to the coroner via ambulance / it's hard to live and exist, in perpetual harmony / feeling so ornery, everybody out to harm or warnin' me / nevertheless i press forward, like stormin normandy / press the flesh with death, like a gesture performed normally / i came upon a clearing in the burning wood forest / a fortress stood before me, a cliff's edge stood before it /

around me prying eyes spying, knee height at the shortest / "know the ledge!" resounded the wood elves in good chorus / a tumble from the precipice, the recipe for a head crack / oh to reach the edifice with a jet pack, such a setback / took a few measured steps back, my inner voice said "get back!" / didn't want to roll the dice with my life, i took my bet back / no medevac, i sighed relief, some breathing got my breath back / when gleaming the horizon's crest, a demon dressed in red & black / made his way gracefully, navigating air streams tastefully / touched down across the way & turned his face to me / he seemed familiar in a venemous way / a certain twinkle of the eye, appeared like mirrors of grey /
