eXPerimental sOundscapeS by Joey Matt DiPeri

a collection of ambient and experimental tracks I recorded between 2009 and 2011, when I was still in high school. I decided to remaster these tracks and finally release them. The first track isn't much, but the rest of the tracks are filled with what ranges from ambient unease to dissonant beauty. The entirety of the sounds on this album (save for my humming on the first track) were made with acoustic guitars, old mics, and manipulating the silences between.

I lost steam after making the last track, so this officially ended up being the end of the album. I actually don't remember if I actually intended it as the end of the album or not, but I do feel like I intended the album to be longer at some point in my life. Really it was mostly me messing around, having fun, and teaching myself basic recording tricks, and I probably wouldn't be as adept at recording, mixing, and mastering as I am today without this.

As for the name, I recorded all of this on a Windows XP computer. You can probably work it out from there.
