State Songs by John Lilly

This is my most challenging - and most rewarding - project EVER! In my years as a traveling musician, I enjoyed many opportunities to travel and to admire nearly all of the United States (48 of 50, so far!). These 12 songs reflect some of my experience and impressions of those travels. Each song is unique - from the subtle sophistication of "Maine for Me" to the rollicking Cajun rhythms of "Yvette, the Crawfish Queen," and from the brass-driven strains of "M-I-S-S-I-S-S-I-P-P-I" to the lonesome yodel of "Good-Bye to Idaho," this CD will take you places you have only imagined!
