Lightbenders by John Skywalker and Endre Blaq
A collaboration between two students of golden era Hip Hop. The title is a reference to the nations involved in the Last Airbender (fire benders, water benders, etc). Lightbenders embroiders the true nature of humanity in our soulful return towards godhood.
Endre Blaq serves a soulful palette of instrumentals for John Skywalker to season with spiritual, philosophical, and lyrical substance. Fellow spoken word artist, Milk, adds his own flavor to the mix.
The base of the pyramid represents the physical body, the sides reflect the journey of life, and the peak symbolizes union with one’s higher power. The walls of the Khemetic pyramids once housed the divine sciences in which spiritual aspirants arrived to receive the secrets of immortality. Lightbenders, in its totality, reflects a reminder that we are God(light) in-carnate (materialized), and we must remember (awaken) to our true nature and continue our conscious evolution towards everlasting love.
