Come All from Congress by John Ward

Come All opens this themed album based on Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show tour of the UK in 1903/4. It is the musical counterpart to the book 'Congress' and features a very wide variety of styles and instrumentation to reflect the different cultures, landscapes and seascapes in the story.
An edited version of the book and album was serialised by the BBC in 2022. Some of the lyrics of this song are taken directly from the original 1903 Wild West Show poster. Track number 9 'Adrift' was the single from the album
