Shore Leave from Unusual Tales by Mystery School

'Shore Leave' is a fun excursion into a world I don't want to have anything to do with. I still enjoyed making a musical foray into a realm where military men explode into town for a night of whoring and boozing after wiping out the enemy. Thanks to Marty's fun bass lines we managed to turn it into an amusing escapade. From the Short Stories album.

Jon Strongbow was a nearly-hidden Pacific Northwest wonder, with six albums of his songs and another six albums of his instrumental music, most with his band Mystery School. He was an author and a graphic artist with multiple books and art prints which he sold at the Pike Place Market, where he was a community fixture. Books and CDs available here.
