I heard it would be worth it
But still I hesitate
So many just enjoy the ride
But that’s not how I feel inside

Up, down
Just want to touch the ground

I don’t feel safe or sound
Going against gravity
Is this how life is supposed to be?
I’ve got to learn how to let go
I cannot help but fight for control

Forcefully it’s pulling
Constraining violently
So long I’ve felt the pain
Wondered if I’m going insane
These bars feel like a cage
But perhaps they keep me safe
For freedom I call and call
But with it I would fall

There’s pain pressing on my chest
