This album features edited location recordings from The Coorong region in South Australia.

These recordings amongst many others formed the base of what would become the sound design for the 2013 stage production of Storm Boy, produced by Sydney Theatre Company and Barking Gecko Theatre Company.

These recordings honour this timeless, wind-swept part of ancient Australia. The lands, waters, and skies has been cared for over millennia by the First Peoples of this country, and as the recordist, I pay respect to those who have ancestral, cultural lineage to this unique, alive environment.

Play softly and deeply, and absorb the windy breath of this vital country.
