haze surrounding clouding vision
has it always been this way
a memory of some connection
far beyond what i can see

something missing beyond senses
something that’s a part of me
reaching out past comprehension
beyond familiarity

intuition beyond reason
suggestion to communicate
calling out to what is missing
attempting to relieve the wait

opening to reach the other
beyond darkness shroud i greet
welcoming to all that makes complete

repetition of my calling
my own voice beyond control
echo of my desperation
reflecting soul’s own call to soul

something beyond comprehension
hinting at another view
alternative to explanation
another voice is breaking thru

it is me yet it is not me
answer from another light
filling in the incomplete
replacing darkness with delight

another voice combined with mine
a poignant pleasure harmony
belies illusion of the split
as soul regains its unity.
