Dawn Chorus from INFINITY by Kerri Powles

I wrote this piece whilst out walking with my dog one early morning in the summer. The sun was just beginning to rise and the birds were in full chorus. I could feel the warmth of the sun on my face and as I closed my eyes to listen to the wonderful birdsong, I felt the wonder that is God's creation, and this music was running through my head.

I live in Brecon, Powys, South Wales. I discovered I could play the piano at 5.
I compose intuitively which means I am unable to read and write music in notation. Most of my music (though not all) comes to me in the dream state, and I am then able to replicate it upon waking. My music has been used in Care and Rest Homes, and has been played to Dementia patients with very positve healing results.
