Another Me from Clocks&Mirrors by AARIE

RIP Shad Gaspard. He died while saving his son from drowning shortly after I wrote this song. I never knew or met him, but the line about being lost within a current hit me differently after that. I think of him every time I listen to it, even though the song has nothing to do with him.

The overall content of this song made me consider cutting it from the album many times. I consider it to be one of the bigger hold ups of the album, as I could not figure out how to approach mixing the hook or muster up enough energy to deliver a second verse. That is a trend on this album for me.

This one is so hard for me to listen to. I suffer thru the years and shed so many tears.
