Get your insulin shot ready. Irresistably catchy, the shiny synth glean of The Fast Feeling‘s debut "Pulses" conceals something darker lurking just beneath the surface. But this isn‘t a band that will let tragedy take the offensive; infectious melodies and exuberant dance punk grooves serve as an upbeat detoxification. Eschewing their history in bands like Five Iron Frenzy and Eleventyseven, the pop-punk influence is apparent, but The Fast Feeling has built something entirely new on that foundation. "Pulses" is an electropop dissertation on humility and hope in troubled times.
