Ratchaser from Road Trip by King Of Hawaii
Ratchaser- Originally written in 2010 while playing my newly acquired vintage solid-state Standell amp, the piece never had the grittiness I was hoping for until presented to the band. Now it’s one of the most rocking KOH songs ever. The title is a nod to blowing off bottle rockets as a kid — removing the long stem, lighting the fuse, and the thrill of a directionless pyrotechnic.
