Bluesy, ethio-trance vibes featuring solo brass improvisation. There is an 80s song by Franco/Tabu Ley that repeats the phrase ‘Kinshasa makambo’ - the two band leaders sing of local social issues together. ‘Makambo’ means ‘problem’. In the Kongo Dia Ntotila version, Mulele and David discuss fictional gossip about the suffering of a recently widowed woman.
