South by Koresma
South is a collection of songs inspired by the ocean and all that it offers. The soulful tracks range in genre and offer a look into the various styles of Koresma including House, Downtempo, Chillhop, and Ambient. Each sound is explored with consistent instrumentation using guitars, analog synths, vocals, saxophone, and strings to evoke feelings of the ocean.
“The South EP takes inspiration from my love of the ocean. In 2019 I relocated to Los Angeles and I was the closest to the beach I’d been in years. Fast forward a few months and we were in lock down due to Covid and our beaches were closed. This experience shook me up and I knew I had to take action with my life so I moved to Redondo Beach to finish the South EP. This has been a special project for me to dive deep into a theme for a solid year. The songs are all inspired by different things that fascinate me about the ocean and the most prevalent theme would be surfing, which is my favorite hobby. The focus track for the EP is “Mystic Sea” and this song is a lush look into the wonders of the ocean from an underwater perspective.”

Koresma (Ryan Lindberg) is an electronic producer currently based in Los Angeles, California. Koresma creates a blend of chilled electro-acoustic music centered around a strong drum groove. Inspired by landscapes and their influence on sounds, Koresma has just finished working on a four part album based on the theme of a compass. Four EP's, East, West, and North and South are out now!
