"Our Songs - Nuestras Kantikas - Undzere Lider"
"Our Songs" was inspired by the residents of The Kline Galland Home, Seattle's Jewish nursing care facility. It is a compilation of Yiddish and Ladino favorite songs from Seattle's Jewish community. You will hear some of the last native voices of Seattle's Jewish seniors in this endearing audio documentary.

Sheila Fox and the Kosher Red Hots hosted a Yiddish and Ladino sing along during Passover of 2006. The room was filled to the brim with enthusiastic residents, staff, friends and family. The live sing along is woven together with field and studio recordings.

Guest singers are Leni LaMarche, Sephardic singer and comedian; Yiddish speakers Frank Krasnowsky, Rena Russak, and Lucy Spring. Hazzan Isaac Azose takes you to the streets of Istanbul.

The art work for this CD was created by Kline Galland Home residents Sylvia Ross, Maddie Viesse, and Marcia Raskov.
