“Gentrification”: Inspired by Kuwait’s own issues with unchecked xenophobia, misinformation, and bureaucratic negligence, this track delves into the theme of cultural erasure, capturing the sense of loss and frustration experienced by communities affected by gentrification.

“Chub”: Drawing heavily on a script by independent Kuwaiti filmmaker Ahmad M. Hamada, this song was written as an End Credits song for his debut feature film, Akh (2024), a gritty, suspenseful Sci-Fi/Horror film that follows the story of two brothers navigating hardship and betrayal. A music video is available.

“1991”: This is a reflective ode to the Gulf War, drawing from +Aziz’s childhood experience living with various family members during that time. The song mixes synth and guitar-driven layers as it works to convey the slowness of living through the 8-month war.

“Flower with a Hangover”: This song offers a somber reflection on the persistence of school shootings, honoring those affected by these tragic events.
