impermanent fixture by Late Frequencies

i quickly realized there was no longer going to be any such thing as me and that as long as i acted like i had the right to exist, i would be unhappy and angry at the world i am forced to inhabit. i would rather be a buzzing fluorescent light or a rock at the bottom of the sea than a human being. i mean, i'm not a human being, i know that. i just couldn't think of better words. it was easier to agree that i did not deserve to wear the skin i wore. the fact that i would someday have my consciousness permanently separated from it was now and forever a comfort.
