Ragnhild May & Kristoffer Raasted present Onomatopoetica, a sprawling chaptered piece released on Laura Lies In via cassette and digital.
The duo begin instilling sentience in tools to revive a dormant entity. Physicality is clear, a pulse found in the intensely humid lower frequencies before rushing waves show signs of resuscitation, both artists working as life support machines. Kristoffer’s vocals sooth and calm while Ragnhild finetunes the tide.
A more placid setting arrives with the ringing of bells before embarking once more. Walls melt and bend as sweltering tones pulse and writhe around one another, communicating rather than conflicting under assured supervision.
The breath steadies, gaining strength through Kristoffer's now emboldened voice. Encouraged to carry its own weight and walk on, reflecting positively.
