Separation Anxiety by Lee Sullivan
Lee Sullivan's debut album, Separation Anxiety, is about growing up and the things that change us along the way. It is a reflection on childhood, travel, first love, break-ups and death. Featuring a core band bolstered by strings, woodwind, brass and experimental production, the album ranges from lush folk to psychedelic rock inspired by the sounds of The Flaming Lips, Aldous Harding and Big Star.
Separation Anxiety was recorded at Mindfield Studios in Sydney and in living rooms, bedrooms and home studios across the city, featuring contributions from a variety of friends within the local music scene.
