Broken Fingers by Blaine L. Reininger
Broken Fingers is Blaine L. Reininger's first solo album for Les Disques du Crépuscule, recorded in February 1982 with assistance from Tuxedomoon colleagues Peter Principle and Steven Brown.
As well as the haunting title track, this eclectic set includes lively ethnic jig Nur Al Hajj, along with exquisite violin miniatures Petit Piece Chinoise and Les Nuages.
The 4 bonus tracks include both sides of non-album single Magnetic Life from 1983, plus versions of the title track and Nur Al Hajj performed by Tuxedomoon.
