Liam O’Connor is one of Ireland’s leading fiddle players. His solo album The Loom won Irish Times Trad Album of the Year (2017). He has performed with Liam O’Flynn, Tony MacMahon, and Noel Hill, and released Dublin Made Me with Seán McKeon. Director of ITMA, he returns in 2025 with Into the Loam, a duet album with Cormac Begley. His playing is powerful, rooted, and deeply expressive.
