Not for fans of music. Anthony Shaw’s minimal and ultra harsh static-noise project has been active since 2011, consistently delivering extreme distortion and blackest of frequencies for depraved troglodytes. BURIAL GROUND delivers an impossibly warm blanket of nothing, lovingly dedicated to the cult classic film “Pieces” from 1982.
An abyss of grinding texture, harrowing bass throb and roaring oblivion, focused on pure HNW stasis and horror-movie obsessed sonic brutality.
We proudly present this massive scraping assault of monolithic destruction, originally released in 2013 as LightenUpSound-063 on the venerable stereo 8 track cartridge format in an edition of 22 copies. Reissued in 2014 as deluxe cassette, limited edition of 44.
This work has been unearthed as part of our ongoing series of excavations from the dusty LUS archives, now finally reborn into the digital sphere for blood soaked eternal life.
