LLamo formed by accident. It started as two friends trying to exhale from a grueling work season and create for the sake of their sanity - but once the first songs washed back over them, the feedback loop began. Without a road map or destination, they were now in the hands of the method they’d created, following its path away from anxiety and towards tranquility and resolve. That first long weekend in late November led to the top of a mountain in Big Sur, back home to the Bay, and ultimately within a year’s time, to the completion of an album designed to transport the listener beyond themselves, to an outer frequency of peace.
The album is intended as a balm for the troubled times in which we’re living, with each composition acting as a subtle nod to the power of collaboration and the ability to access serenity amidst the uncertainty and tension of our daily existence. These are songs for taking a break, walking dogs, sharing food, staring out the window, checking in with your heart, and finding the small beauties in an often intense world.
