The shattering of a glass canon, refracting and honing the lorelight to burn new words into the blank pages of a storybook of silence.

Some wish to return to the silence, and some are not lucky enough to last long enough to wish. Some use the deadly mixture of perfect science and imperfect logic to attempt to tame the light for themselves, and they shall inevitably and unequivocally fail. Some, like the Ong bataíi, can slowly, deliberately, spin a good word sour; none can read the book verbatim. And only one is Baz Luhrmann.

Few scattered leaves of knowledge are known to exist, and fewer still have been caught, yet still some poor soul thought it fit to compile what little they found into this flawed and illegible tome. What few flecks of paint here can be endlessly laid down and still never resemble the great canvas, but it is human nature to try. And so, the task has unceremoniously been shifted over to you. Under the reasonable assumption you are a human, of course.

I don't expect you to tightrope-walk through this crevasse alone, but I'm not sure what other chances you have. The worlds are colliding and this is your keyhole.
