Subconsciously Speaking by gewgaw

This album was created during the doldrums of the pandemic-when I was unable to rehearse with other musicians or see my friends in person. What you hear is the cathartic process of me experimenting with new guitar pedals and finding a different sound- a series of layered, melodic excursions that challenge the depth of my looping pedal. As most were created in my basement during the winter, I personally feel there is a coldness to many of the pieces, thus solidifying it as a winter album of sorts (in my mind). All of the compositions are very meditative and can work as both background music and deep listening. Please listen, enjoy and stay tuned as this is just the first of many gewgaw releases for 2025!
