I greet the void below me

They who made the earth so generous

A picture perfect waterfall
You tumble down
And then when you complete the fall you drown

I hear the ringing lowly
And it keeps me awake
My fondest memory is silence

And I will tumble only
Till my work is completed
And then the depths will take my carcass

Deaf and voiceless
These depths can have my carcass
Now it's useless
