Sometimes the one thing we want
Is the thing that we lose.
Sometimes we’re forced to make choices
When we weren’t ready to choose.
So we try to find things that got lost
In some other face.
We’re just filling space.

Hear my breath, Feel my skin,
Be loud, Break a sweat.
Maybe I can make you
Remind me of things that we came to forget

Sometimes we’re looking for lies
That we know aren’t true.
Sometimes we just need to do
What we’re pretty sure we shouldn’t do.
Sometimes we know we should call it a night,
But we don’t just in case.
We’re just filling space.
