LOW ORBIT by Lost Cat Magnet & Joshua Thomson
Enter 2020 and the global pandemic. Joshua Thomson and Lost Cat Magnet found themselves in the odd position of pursuing a new concept without the ability to be in the same room. Thomson had a home recording rig, where he listened, made notes, and took several passes on each track. Acevedo then took those intense, soulful takes, brought them into his electronic compositions, and weaved them into four cinematic, urban-ambient, electro-house, funk-jazz compositions. It was the Electro-Jazz voice of Lost Cat Magnet had been shooting for from the start.
