Endless Night by Loghan Cunningham

My second complete album, this one I think really reflects my feelings in the past year and a half, a certain lack of stability and consistency in my life has started to bring me down, people who I thought would always be there, I now only talk to once or twice a year. I've been more lonely than ever, and really let down by the fact that nothing ever lasts. As with all my music I hope to reflect feelings of hopefulness mixed with feelings of hopelessness as i seem to cycle back and forth between these two states almost daily. I want nothing more than to be satisfied with myself, but every time i get so close, I fuck it all up and end up at square one. I'm told almost daily that i need to change my perspective, and I often fear that I have a very poisonous mind, that mustn't be shared with the world, music is the only way I can adequately express any of this. When you listen to my music you should know you're getting something real and genuine, there is no other way for me to explain.

I named the album after this line in a movie called "deadman" I felt these words perfectly describe how not only your mind dictates how you feel, but your upbringing as a child, your environment, every little thing you see from a young age shapes and folds you into the person you are... You can play the card of " we make our own decisions." or " you are responsible for your own actions" etc, etc. (As we get older we have to let go of these things, and pave our own way) but it is certainly made easier for some than others, and there is no reason for that, its just the random dice shake everyone gets before they are born. So... remember this if you feel sad, lost, hopeless, as believe me.... I OFTEN do. You feel the way you do because you are a good person who just got dragged through a bunch of shit that shaped their perspective. I fear now more than ever that I may not find my peace, this may be the only thing left that I am truly afraid of. This album is dedicated to those facing endless night.
