Will You forget me?

Hide Your face from me?
How long must I take counsel in my soul
And have sorrow in my heart all the day?

How long shall my
Enemy be over me?
Consider and answer,
O LORD my God;
Light up my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death
Lest my enemy say “I have prevailed”
Lest my foes rejoice because they see I am shaken

But I have trusted in Your steadfast love;
My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation and I will sing

Because He has dealt with me bountifully

And we all sing our praise
Because He hears, and He does

To a loving One who does not just sit by and let our
enemies prevail over us, He has prevailed for us!

And I will sit by and watch them fall at His feet
And I shall be lifted up with Him
