In part inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky's 1983 film 'Nostalghia' and also 'Perfect Days' (2023) by Wim Wenders.
'Nostalghia' is about a Russian poet named Andrei Gorchakov visiting Italy accompanied by Eugenia, an Italian translator to research the life of Pavel Sosnovsky, a composer from his home country who studied there during the late 1700's. But instead Andrei who is preoccupied with a longing for home becomes more interested in a ruminative madman named Domenico.
