Abused Wristwatches by Luke Hennisch

My first album, the culmination of a year and a half's work of writing, recording and producing...it's finally here. This album has been in the works for so long it's such an eerie feeling no longer recording for it, as it's been such a big part of my life for so long. This album deals with a vast complex of different topics, from turning into an orange to realizing you've failed on all your hopes in dreams, this album is definitely a mix of different emotions. The album focuses heavily on the passage of time and my struggle to accept that its passing is obviously out of my hands. Over the last year and a half a lot has changed. Being in a pandemic had us all locked in doors, where I would write songs every day. Most of which, obviously did not end up on the album, but these songs progressed and weighed on my feelings of the life we were currently in. Being inside made me really nostalgic for the past, as it did to most people. Longing for the simpler times. Through that feeling I wrote many of these tracks which would become "Abused Wristwatches", the title being a nod to clocks and the passage of time (at one point there was gonna be a song on the album called Clocks, but I never finished it!). This album has helped me a lot to focus on the present and not dwell on what I miss. I hope you enjoy this first slice into my future musical endeavors. Enjoy. Thanks.
