Skyene

Sjå på himmelen,
så høg og fri,
sjølv skyene har dårlig tid,
sveve fort forbi,
skyene og vi,
dropa finne veien sin til dammen,
tenke kor gikk det til
at vi kom nettopp hit,
e det mitt liv
som renne ut i sanden.

Vinden forme skyene med frodig fantasi,
kan eg sjå konturane av den eg helst vil bli,
lysegrå skulptura flyte ut og glir forbi,
kan eg strekk' ut handa og bestemme forma mi.

E her ingen ting
å ankre i,
eg flytta meg umerkelig.
Skiftande motiv,
gamle perspektiv,
farga og impulsa flyte sammen,
over mitt staffeli,
et slumpens maleri,
e det mitt liv
som renne ut i sanden.

The clouds

Look at the sky,
so high and free,
even the clouds are in a hurry,
floating swiftly by,
the clouds and we,
the drop finds its way to the pond,
wondering how did we end up right here,
is it my life
flowing away into the sand.

The wind shapes the clouds with lush imagination,
can I see the contours of who I'd rather be,
light gray sculptures drifting out and passing by,
can I reach out my hand and determine my form.

Is there nothing here
to anchor in,
I moved imperceptibly.
Changing motifs,
old perspectives,
colors and impulses merge,
over my easel,
a painting of chance,
