It is a great honor and pleasure to share these songs with you. These songs have been medicine for me through potent (both high and low) times in my life, and I hope they will be medicine for you too.

I dedicate this album to my friend, Lady Liuwa.
Lady Liuwa: the great, wild, compassionate lioness who lived on the Liuwa Plains of far western Zambia. She lived alone for many years after poaching and illegal trophy hunting wiped out every other lion in her vast ecosystem.
I was blessed enough to meet her and become friends with her during my time in Liuwa (Nov 2011-Jan 2012). She spent her final years with a pride of lions who were re-introduced to Liuwa. She passed on to other plains in August 2017, during the leo moon, on an astrological day they call the "Lion's Gate."
