Evening Dress by Ambrela
It's almost over a year ago that we have enjoyed the sounds of Ambrela for the first time on Cinematique. Time for a follow up release we would say.
With a continuous string of cool releases on various labels Ambrela is a guy to watch out for when it's about melodic and emotional electronic music. The Russian musician recently released a beautiful EP on Animate Dummy recordings and last year he had the honor to do an EP on the label of the mighty Groj: Box records. Musically wise, he seems to be growing and growing so it's no surprise we would love to have him back on the label.
On this 'Evening Dress' EP he delivers a double A side with two very strong but also different sounding originals. It shows the variety in styles of this young man. To top things off, we welcome a pair of long time friends of Cinematique for some serious remix business. We're pleased with the appearances of both Magic Panda and PHM.
