Here at Manual we always keep an eye out for unknown, emerging talents. So when one of our artists introduced us to Amsterdam based producer Michael Nunes we were all ears and needless to say we loved what we heard, because on your computer screen right now you're looking at his Manual Music debut titled 'Odyssee EP'.
Michael Nunes blends his new found love for electronic music styles with childhood funk- and soul influences by artists such as Cameo, Isaac Hayes, Taana Gardner & Prince to name a few. He specializes in a melting pot of styles like nu disco, (deep) house, and tropical elements presented with a fresh vision on the funkier side of dance music. Michael's original style surprises to say the least, suiting a wide variety of dance music lovers, hence his two residencies at pioneering clubnights Katapult at Studio 80 and UNK at Club 8 in Amsterdam.
