Golden Melancholy by Martin Neuhold

During the last few weeks, I regularly sat down to play the piano. Often, my fingers would start playing a piece as if it had come from somewhere else, and I just had to let it out. Sometimes, I remembered to hit the “Record” button before I began playing. That’s how these eight pieces came to be. To me, they all carry a feeling of autumn, with its blend of melancholy and hope, sun and mist, endings and new beginnings.
