Mary Water has traveled great distances in her life. She has been a guest in God's kingdom, won arguments with both The Devil & Death, and played games of skill & chance with the deities of Mount Olympus. It was between a tornado and an earthquake in 1993 that Mary encountered the remains of a certain dead armadillo on the side of Interstate 23. Perhaps only the last sparks of life lingered in the plated mammal, but the armadillo seemed to come to life again. It was during this brief moment of unexpected wonder that Mary was possessed by the spirit of Armadilla. For almost 3 years the armadillo spirit has rested in Mary's heart. During this time the spirit has manifested itself in various creative undertakings. Happy Halloween is the lost story of Armadilla.
