Landscapes by Mattia Olgiati
Italy was one of the first countries in Europe to be hit by the COVID-19 emergency.
During the national lockdown I got to think a lot about my music and what I could create.
And so "Landscapes" was born. An album that wants to take people's minds away from their problems, even if only for a short time. I recorded this album between February and August 2020, during the various restrictions caused by the global health emergency.
It's been a year since I started working on the album, but one year later the message this album wants to bring is still valid.
I hope that the tracks contained in this album can brighten the days of those who want to listen to it, even if only for a second.

TRACKS
1-Prelude
Prelude has the task of introducing to the album. Imagine it as a door to a world.
2-Forest
Nature surrounds us: the birds sing, we are at peace with what surrounds us. Imagine a sunny day, clear skies and a gentle breeze.
3-Zen
Let's imagine the most remote place that can come to our mind. A temple, immersed in the silence of the mountains. We have the opportunity to meditate. That's why Zen.
4-Leaves
A classic autumn day: the leaves fall from the branches, almost like an ostinato rhythm.
5-Sand
A beach at sunset. The warm sand covers your feet while in the distance the sounds of the city give way to silence.
6-River
There are things that never change. The river brings life along its path. An incredible rhythm that nature offers us.
7-Night
Sometimes when night falls we let ourselves be seized by fears. Have we ever tried to hear what the night really brings us?
8-Dawn
After the dark comes the light. Every dark moment has its end.
