This song is about the emptiness, the void inside.
The void that isn't actually there. Depression is a wall, a fog, obscuring emotions I wasn't ready to feel at that time.
So it actually is very much "something", but it does feel like a "nothing" at times because it is an absence of a thing I subconsciously know should be there, a suppression.
This isn't a happy song.
