Force by Mayuko
Art-pop trio Mayuko releases "Force," the first early harbinger of their debut album, a piece of empowerment that reminds us in dark moments what beauty and strength is there within us.
Mayuko about the track:
"In moments of feeling defeated or on the brink of giving up, this song was made to remind those who are struggling that they are a force of nature. All that is necessary is within and can be unlocked. It is told through the origin story of the I Ching oracles and, of the first hexagram 'Force' or 'The Creator'."
Mayuko, based in Mannheim and Berlin, Germany, consists of artists Michelle Cheung, Kasia Kadlubowska and Rebecca Mauch. Classically trained in music and in dance respectively, yet fearless in blending all their influences, Mayuko create kaleidoscopic soundscapes between pop, electronic and experimental.
Mayuko is delicate, fragile, but consequent, and bring a softness to an unforgiving world.
