That’s right the multinational drum & bass empire that is Hospital Records is launching a brand spanking new label. Pushing a deeper, techy, more experimental sound, Med School will get to the parts other labels can’t reach. With enough training our sonic surgeons are doing the ward rounds and graduating with full honours!
Kicking things off comes this darkside dancefloor smash from the man S.P.Y, Brazilian he may be, but don’t expect any floaty sunshine beats or noodley fender rhodes here! Make no mistake, the rhythm and soul is present and correct, but this is a deeper more primal sound. With a techy tension and a paranoid edge that has been keeping dancefloors hooked.
Already cut and lashed by a cross section of D+B’s biggest DJs These two tracks have been going off in the sets of Fabio, Bailey and London Elektricity among others. Look out for the second installment of Med School next month – Polish Sorcerer CLS comes correct with some hybrid business.
