'Le Nocturne' is an ode to the nighttime. The evening, the shadow hours, the twilight, etc. The night brings with it a certain air of mystery, and lucky for you, the listener, Mela9 gets his best work done after sundown. This is a collection of 25 tracks, each being dedicated to the twilight in its own way. Almost exclusively created using the Roland SP-202, SP-404A, and SP-404mkII, the sound is as authentic of a 'beat tape' as you will find on the current scene. Pop it on at home, in your whip, or in your earbuds, and you'll instantly know that even though 'Le Nocturne' was inspired by the night, you can play it and enjoy it any time of day.
