intact but estranged
in the blue murky fluid
this river is strange
but I guess I can do it

full up to the last drop
wrist pop as I paddle
canoe top to boat top
oh look theres a dock
so I pull up alongside
ridden the ride
so I pull up along side
and the river is strange
and I’m now here beside it
lines written right tight
lines written long side it
and walking feet beat
a path t'ward full neat
and here I’ve arrived

a thought on the rocks
by the river at night
by the river in dim light
this river is strange
and up pops a curtain
back drop shore crop'd
just totally neat

and I look really close

its so totally clear
even seeing with half sight

and the revelation a wonder
to see in the middle
pointing straight out the water
a thing so potential
so amazing positioned
