Lyrics
Lines were drawn quickly between the French and English colonies that spanned the great expanses of the New World.
Every brave new adventure and fresh discovery not made in the name of progress but of king and country.
And so explorers crushed the natives, stiffened artificial boundaries and instead of sharing they brought flags, rape and misery.
And the greatest losers in this god-forsaken story are the ones that were already here, peaceful and welcoming.
Then the invaders stayed and polluted everything.
Lending gun, sword and stolen ground to faceless companies building pipelines that nobody needs and it won't change a thing that we disagree.
And it goes on and on, it's all the same. We're still bulldozing over those sacred lands where there's so much we could learn if only money didn't override culture.
It goes on and on, it never ends. The economy keeps those boundaries in place and we'll dehydrate and burn long before the bankers run out of drinking water.
