雪鳥 - Snow Bird from Sanwa EP by Child Mercury

This song was inspired by songs my Koto teacher has been teaching me. As you might already know, the Koto is a Japanese harp. It is a very versatile instrument, able to produce a lot of different sounds. I wanted to create a song for the Koto with traditional Japanese musical elements.

The image came to me of a bird of snow, who ushers in the winter wherever it goes...
