Amagianascience by Miss Jupiter
Los Angeles-based Miss Jupiter's debut album “Amagianascience" is an alternately gritty & lush soundscape fusing folk & rock roots with modern-day alternative, punk, and new age psychedelia. Vocalist/songwriter/producer Michelle Jupiter leads listeners on a personal journey through despair, confusion, and awakening, all the way to the light at the end of the tunnel. With thought-provoking lyrics, each song embodies part of a personality, with overarching themes that overlap in a manner which lends cohesion and never lacks in excitement from start to finish. The title (pronounced similarly to “imaginations”) is a word coined to describe a magical rebirth of consciousness.
