Bode: Steven Leak always surprises me, but this time he left me speechless. He took stems that I had abandoned in my backups and produced the second and, by the way, incredibly wonderful album of our joint project. And I can only thank him very much for that. Our musical ideas are very similar to the point that our composition process happens very quickly, because all the planning and execution of the songs flows absurdly well. So, I just hope you enjoy alloy as much as I loved it. And know that the prolific and dear Steven already has a third album with me almost ready for my and your delight.
Steven: This was a really fun project. Bode sent me long single stems of music that I then worked and played with, so they formed a foundation for the music that I then added to them. Once again, it was a real joy to co-create this album with Bode . . .
This music was created using Arturia Minifreak and Microfreak synthesizers. i ran many of the signals from these two synths through Red Panda Tensor and Particle pedals, a TC Infinite pedal, a Zoom multiplex pedal. i also incorporated shortwave radio signals, my
voice, tuned wine glasses and found objects and sounds. all of this was at some time or another, live-room recorded onto a Zoom H4N.
Composed and Produced by Steven Leak and Bode
Mixed and mastered in Denmark by Erik Emil Eskildsen
Cover Art by Steven Leak
